The Full Face
The Full Face marine safety helmet provides the most protection out of all the Gecko helmet range. Designed with jet skiers and power boaters or for those at risk of high speed water impacts, the Full Face helmet provides extensive protection around the head and face. The Gecko full Face helmet also meets the BSI PAS028:2002 accreditation.
WHY CHOOSE A GECKO FULL FACE HELMET?
The Full Face helmet is specifically designed with fast water crafts in mind. With 30 years’ experience in designing marine safety helmets, Gecko introduced the Full Face to provide protection to those more exposed to collisions on the water. The shell is made with Fibreglass, Carbon and Aramid (which can be found in bullet proof products). This composite creates incredible strength to weight ratio. The patented inflatable liner provides buoyancy and does not soak up water like other foam liners found in alternative helmet choices, this means the helmet remains lightweight.

The helmet offers full peripheral vision while offering frontal protection from impacts.
The grooves along the helmet are designed to increase the strength to weight ratio of the shell. It also allows water to run off the back of the helmet to keep vision clear.
The patented inflatable liner is an integral part of the helmet design; through an oral valve, the liner has the ability to inflate or deflate to create a perfect fit every time.
This offers an inherent buoyancy to the user, and if overboard and rising up to the surface will position the user to rise with the helmet to take any impacts.
The neck is cut high to allow users full motion of their head to look all around them including above them in case of a helicopter rescue.
This also allows for life jackets and buoyancy aids to be used and not push the helmet up from the back and obscure user vision.
